To the great relief of parents and children alike, the Easton Community Center’s pre-school program finally opened its doors on Sept. 8. There are 50 merry mites in the ECC’s Playtots Program.

In the first week of school, the children enjoyed a range of activities including playground and gym games, yoga, birthday celebrations, and learning experiences including cooking a seasonal favorite, applesauce.

“This is my 13th year at Playtots, and I can safely say that we’ve never seen as much excitement to come back to school as we did this year,” said Carole Lisi, Playtots program director. “The children are so happy to be with their friends and playing and learning together.”

“Parents are happy knowing their children are in a safe environment where we are taking every precaution to keep the children and our teachers healthy,” she added.
