To the Editor:
I am in support of Anne Hughes for re-election to the 135th District. We need leaders who listen to the quietest voices in the room. As a social worker and from thousands of conversations she has had with constituents, Anne knows that people whose lives are most impacted by policy are often the least able to speak up.
In addition to playing a pivotal role in the passage of paid family leave and an on-time, balanced budget, Anne has co-introduced or sponsored 79 bills, more than 15 times that of her predecessor.
