Violation of Protection Order

Violation of a protection order was the charge on Jan. 15 against Yesenia Leon, 31, of Easton .
The charge came after a Department of Children and Families agent asked the Easton Police Department to do a welfare check on the occupants of the home where Leon resides.

According to the agent, Leon reported her boyfriend was drinking, playing loud music, waking their children and being disruptive. Officers found the home in order and peaceful. However, it was discovered that Leon was in violation of a protection order following an arrest on Nov. 21, 2020 for disorderly conduct.

Leon was arrested and taken to the Easton Police Department to be processed. She was later
released on a $20 cash bond and given a court date of Jan. 19 to appear at Bridgeport Superior Court.

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

The Easton Police Department is located at 700 Morehouse Road, Easton, CT 06612, 203-268-4111, EastonCT.gov.
