Welcome to the second installment of the Courier’s shout-out to Easton volunteers. This week we honor EMT Paco Acosta, Easton EMS 2018 Volunteer of the Year.
Last week we spotlighted Victor Malindretos, president of the Board of Trustees, director of communications and an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) with the Easton EMS.

Acosta joined Easton Volunteer EMS in September 2016, heeding a call for volunteers and having received his EMT certification earlier in the year. In 2018 his contributions to Easton EMS were recognized with a Volunteer of the Year award.Â
When he is not volunteering his time, Acosta is a marketing consultant and part-time dispatcher with the Easton Police Department.
Now and in the coming weeks, the Courier is introducing readers to some of the men and women who volunteer with the Easton Emergency Medical Services team. Each brings a unique skill set, but all are eager to serve 24/7.
