The Unitarian Universalists Congregation in Westport held their annual meeting on Sunday, June 13. A critical agenda item for the meeting was to pass our Anti-Racism Resolution, which included honoring the UUA’s proposed 8th principle.

After a year of work with our Racial Justice Council and as a congregation, we are pleased with this step. To read the complete resolution, please click HERE.

The Unitarian Church in Westport — a UU congregation that draws from across lower Fairfield County — welcomes folks from all faith traditions to act to make the world a better place for all.

Please join us as we continue to condemn racism in its many forms and commit to becoming an intentionally and proactively anti-racist congregation, supporting the goals of the Black Lives Matter and other similar movements, as consistent with our Unitarian Universalist principles. We would love to have you be part of our work and journey together. Contact david@uuwestport.org for more information.
