Tonight we had 17 EMT’S learn the protocols for a new way to deliver oxygen for patients having specific forms of difficulty breathing.
Called continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), it delivers more pressurized oxygen to patients in need. Thank you to our EMS instructor Margie for setting this up and for Terrence from St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport who taught the program.
Easton residents can rest assured they will continue to get high quality care from our volunteers!
