To the Editor:
I could not agree more with Dr. Lechtenberg article on the cruel abortion laws that have been passed by Kentucky and so many other states. The very individuals who protest “forced” vaccinations, citing their right to choose what enters their bodies, illogically insist that children and women must carry unwanted pregnancies that endanger their lives, their safety, their mental health, their physical health, and their economic and educational futures. I certainly haven’t seen any demands for forced vasectomies on men, both young and old, who refuse to support the children they have fathered or who have committed rape or incest that has resulted in a pregnancy.
