HKMS Bus #9 Is Now a Library Bus

HKMS students may now ride bus #9 to the Easton Public Library after school. The Library provides programming for middle school kids as well as a safe and welcoming space for them to meet friends, do homework, get book recommendations, or just browse the shelves and digital resources.

To have your child take this bus, send a note to hkmsmainoffice@er.9.org, or call 203-268-8651, each time, and your child will be issued a bus note for that day.

Volunteer Library Squad Will Support Middle Schoolers

Coming soon at the Library: Library Squad. This group will give middle schoolers a chance to start making a difference in the Library, by sharing their creative input on everything from books to programming. They will also play games, create art and exchange ideas. Library Squad will meet once a month after school.

Our redesigned EPL Innovation Space will offer open hours after school for STEAM activities and special programming.

The Library Squad will have its first meeting on Friday, Nov. 4 at 3:30 p.m. We will be designing and making buttons. On Dec. 2nd, the group will learn to draw some anime.
