
Republican State Rep. Tony Scott was sworn in for his second term at the State Capitol in Hartford on Jan. 4 to serve the 112th district, which now includes all of Monroe, about half of Easton and a portion of Trumbull after the state’s redrawn district map. He was joined by his wife, Jenn, and daughters, Lauren and Addison.
Scott was appointed the ranking member of the Housing Committee. In his new role, Scott will lead housing-related policy initiatives on behalf of House Republicans. He will also serve as a member of the General Law Committee, the Higher Education and Employment Committee.
