Absentee ballots are available for eligible Easton voters wishing to vote in the May 2 referendum on town’s budget, the Region 9 school district budget and the budget for improvements to the Joel Barlow athletic fields and Nest Building.

Those wishing to vote by absentee ballot must complete and return their ballots no later than 8 p.m. on May 2, the day of the referendum.

The ballot referendum questions ask voters to vote yes or no to approve Easton’s $48,574,643 annual town budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, the $24,811,367 Region 9 school district budget (of which Easton’s share is $13,256,713) and a Region 9 bonding proposal for $4,500,000 for improvements to Joel Barlow High School’s fields and Nest Building.

Voters can drop off completed ballots in the official Drop Box located on the walkway between the Public Library and the Police Department on Morehouse Road or in person in the town clerk’s office in Town Hall on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
