The Easton Public Library, in partnership with the Aspetuck Land Trust, will host a book talk by Massachusetts author Alan Powers on Saturday, May 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room.
Powers has just recently published his second book, “Conversations with Birds: The Metaphysics of Bird and Human Communication.” The book, which was released in February, is already in its second printing.
Powers has been listening to bird conversation for decades, and has even found examples of historical figures who felt that talking with birds improved their state of mind.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. Registration is required. To register, go to eastonlibrary.org/calendar-list, or call at 203-261-0134.
