With more rain forecast for this Saturday, Michael Carroll of Rediscovering
History, Inc has generously offered to reschedule this Saturday’s Union Cemetery
Preservation Workshop to Sunday morning. Sunday’s event will begin at 10:00 AM with the presentation of the Francis Mellen Community Preservation Award to cousins Bruce and Bob Laskay,
and the workshop be limited to a single expanded session. All Saturday tickets will be honored
on Sunday, and those who cannot attend the rescheduled event are eligible for a
refund.

Further details are available on the Historical Society of Easton’s website:
https://historical-society-of-easton.yapsody.com/event/index/783505/union-cemeteryworkshop?

The HSE requests participants to park on the western edge of the cemetery grounds
along Sport Hill Road or closer to the western gate off of Stepney Road so as not to
interfere with the church services of the Black Rock Church at the eastern end of the cemetery.
