Governor Ned Lamont, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz and U.S. Rep. Jim Himes were among those gathered at the Morehouse Pavilion on Oct. 5 to rally for reproductive rights.

The rally was organized by Beth Cliff of Easton who is challenging incumbent Republican state Rep. Tony Scott of Monroe for Connecticut’s 112th District seat. The district represents Easton, Monroe and Trumbull.

Rally goers carrying placards joined a lineup of state and local Democratic elected officials and candidates running for office from upper Fairfield County and across the state, who spoke in defense of women’s reproductive rights.
