Longtime Fairfield resident Tony Hwang has been an outstanding representative of the 28th District for the past 10 years. Senator Hwang is the Chief Deputy Senate Republican Leader and has risen to senior positions on many legislative committees, and also serves as the co-chair of the bipartisan Bioscience Caucus.
He has been named an “Environmental Champion” by the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters and has been recognized by the Connecticut Council of Small Towns for his advocacy in protecting local control of housing and zoning regulations. Senator Hwang is an independent thinker and proven leader who works to reach consensus.
