Here are the top 10 reasons to attend bee school:

1. Start the New Year with a buzz!

Kick off January by learning something inspiring, sustainable and alive — real bees make a real impact.

2. Learn from four seasoned beekeepers.

Meet your teaching dream team: Learn from experts, including master beekeepers and the state apiary inspector — all ready to turn beginners into beekeepers and your curiosity into confidence.

3. Be ready for your own hive by spring — real hobby, real honey, real bragging rights.

Walk in curious, walk out the queen or king of your backyard apiary.

4. Join a buzzing community. Make new friends who think bees are awesome — because they are!

This class is the start to something great.

5. Learn that beekeeping is more than just learning about bees.

You’ll learn more about the intricacies of the world around you. Bees are highly in tune with their environment, and helping them thrive involves learning more about plants, weather patterns, other insects and how they all connect to support the ecosystem around them.

6. Small class, big attention.

Limited spots mean you will get direct feedback and time for your questions. Perfect for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or have hives already, we cover everything from bee biology to seasonal care.

7. Support a local, passionate bee-loving organization.

Back Yard Beekeepers Association is a well-established club with real impact and heart.

8. Honey. Wax. Candles. Treats. Gifts. You could eventually make your own!

Your future self thanks you (so does every foodie and gardener you know).

9. Bees are the coolest science class you never got to take.

It’s part nature documentary, part hands-on how-to, and 100% more fun than most things in January.

10. Best. Holiday. Gift. Ever.

It doesn’t clutter a closet, it sparks a lifelong skill, and it spreads sweetness — literally!
