CANCELLED Art Reception: Nicole Traver

CANCELLED: Nicole Traver will NOT be having a reception at the ibrary on Feb. 15 as originally planned. Traver’s artwork is on display in the Conference Room from Jan. 6-Feb. 14. Traver, an artist based in Brookfield, has transformed her challenging life experiences into a vibrant artistic journey. Born with spina bifida meningocele, She faced numerous physical and social challenges, including years of physical therapy and numerous surgeries. Despite these obstacles, she has thrived, working as an Administrative Assistant and caring for her lively labradoodle, Toby.

Travers’ acrylic pour paintings are characterized by fluid, bold lines and mesmerizing abstract compositions. Her work evokes a sense of wonder and contemplation, reflecting the raw emotions beneath our consciousness. Each piece invites viewers to immerse themselves in a world of vibrant colors and dynamic shapes, creating a powerful and thought-provoking experience.
