Easton Celebrates World Kindness Day

The Easton Connects with Kindness Committee will celebrate World Kindness Day on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Easton Public Library. Boomerang awards will be presented to Easton residents who epitomize kindness in the hope that kindness that goes around, comes around. Kids and adults will assemble care packages for veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Gloves, winter socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving cream, safety razors, deodorant, medicated foot powder, and other essential items are desperately needed. Boomerang award winners are Easton Police Chief Tim Shaw, Eunice Hanson, Dr. John Machledt and Jon Stinson.
