Easton Graveyards

October 23, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Frank Pagliaro’s cemetery talks and tours are not about ghosts; rather, they focus on the people who lie in the graveyards who would have been our neighbors. Frank explains how the living dealt with death, including past customs, changes in practices, and iconography, and touches on cemetery maintenance and preservation. He also connects the houses or locations that some of the cemetery residents used to call home.

Local historian Frank Pagliaro is a 30-year Easton resident and a member of the Cemetery Committee, the Historic Preservation Review Commission, and a former member of the Historical Society. Frank gives talks and tours about all things Easton, its history, and its cemeteries. He has been interviewed by the Connecticut Post and WPKN, and he has had articles printed in Easton Neighbors magazine. He also co-authored a paper on the Weston Meteorite that was published in the journal Meteoritics and Planetary Science. Retired from a career in commodities, Frank currently works as a barista and occasional speaker at Greiser’s Coffee and Market. He enjoys sharing Easton’s history with all who want to hear it.
