Navigating the College Application

October 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

**This event is highly relevant to high school seniors, however, parents and high school juniors are welcome to attend.

The college application season is open, and there are quite a few topics you’ll want to know about, including:

– The Different Types of College Applications
– The Applications Cycles: Early Action, Early Decision, Rolling Admissions, and Regular Admissions
– The Do’s & Don’ts of Completing an Application (navigate the honors/achievements, activities, recommendations & the “additional information” sections)
– How to link Naviance to Common App.

While the process is not difficult, there are common missteps/clichés that you’ll want to avoid.

This will be an interactive session and for all of you teens, please create a Common App account before joining in, that way you can make changes/notes as you go. Also, make sure you have your Naviance login info handy.

Note: All students to create a Common App (link here) account before joining so that we can make changes/notes as we go. Also, please have your Naviance login info handy.

Registration is required. Registrants will receive a Zoom link the day of the program.

Presented by Priyanka Shingala of Let’s Talk College LLC. Priyanka is super knowlegeable and friendly.
