Thefts:
A Bibbins Road resident called police on June 17 to report that her fresh organic multicolored eggs for sale sign and a cooler were taken from the end of her driveway. The cooler later found on Northwood Drive, police said.
A complaint was called in on June 18 from a resident on Judd Road regarding items missing from her yard. Approximately 6 months ago, she noticed her address number tiles missing from a planter by the driveway. Yesterday she noticed the flowers planted by her driveway were missing as well, police said.
Fraud:
A complainant was having issues with her Iphone on June 20 and thought she contacted Apple Tech Support and spoke to “Frank Johnson,” who advised her to download 2 applications. She became suspicious when Johnson told her she needed to purchase gift cards for further assistance. She went to the Trumbull Apple Store in person and was advised that she had not reached Apple Support and the call was likely fraudulent, police said.
