Disorderly Conduct

On July 19, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Easton Police Department received a call that a “co-worker” had just left the victim’s residence, after showing up uninvited and slapping the victim’s face. Witnesses at the residence confirm the victim’s statement, police said.

Charles Schwartz, 57, of Ardsley N.Y. was contacted and instructed to come to the Easton Police Department. Schwartz denied hitting the victim, but admitted showing up uninvited and becoming upset when the victim introduced one of the guests as the victim’s boyfriend. Schwartz considered himself the victim’s boyfriend, police said.

Schwartz was issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court July 20.

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

The Easton Police Department is located at 700 Morehouse Road, Easton, CT 06612, 203-268-4111, EastonCT.gov.
