Tech Week is a free summer STEM festival hosted by Joel Barlow High School students. Virtual educational sessions about STEM topics and STEM at Barlow will run Tuesday, Aug. 4 to Friday, Aug. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. each day.
To register, fill out the form on the website’s homepage, barlowtechweek.weebly.com.
This is a great way to learn about and sign up for STEM activities at Barlow. Students will earn a digital ticket for each session they attend. These tickets will be entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of the week. There will be additional prizes to win at the Tech Week Finale.
The session topics range from how planes fly to CAD to environmental science. The host of each session will provide information on how to earn a Barlow Byte. Barlow Byte certificates signify active participation and learning in a Tech Week session.
For more information about each session visit barlowtechweek.weebly.com. If you have questions feel free to contact us at meghan.ogrinz@er9.org or emily.larkin@er9.org. Hope to see you soon!
