The Easton Public Library is participating in a statewide program that offers long-terms loans on laptops.
The Laptop ConneCT Program is administered by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in partnership with the Connecticut State Library, and it is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.
To qualify for the program, a borrower must be an Easton resident with a valid Library card and participate in a qualifying state or federal assistance program. The borrower must also be at least 18 years of age.
Eligible residents will be asked to schedule two appointments with library staff. The first will be for intake and vetting. The second will be an orientation to the device. Laptops can be borrowed for up to five years.
For more information, please call the library at 203-261-0134.
