More progress is evident in Easton as UI crews are endeavoring to complete repairs following unusually high numbers of fallen trees on power lines. Mile Common Road, seen above, is nearly completed.
Police Chief Richard Doyle, who is also the town’s emergency services director, has been monitoring UI crews since Tuesday, when the extent of the damage was still unknown.
Work is also complete at the corner of Wilson and Beers Roads, where two utility poles and wires required replacement. See photos below provided by Doyle.
