To the Editor:
I’m voting to reelect Anne Hughes State Representative for Easton, Weston, and Redding because she works tirelessly on issues that serve our needs. For years our sylvan towns have experienced extensive power outages during increasingly severe storms resulting in downed power lines.
This summer our towns were without power for several days; residents suffered without heat/ac, lights and water. For the first time in my 40-year residency we have a representative who stood up to the power companies, demanding accountability.
Anne acts to make our lives better. She has earned my vote to continue representing us in Hartford.
