The Easton Public Library has set up its annual Giving Tree, hoping that patrons will make donations prompted by the spirit of the season.

Each ornament on the tree represents a different item that the library purchases for its collection (book, DVD, CD, etc.). Patrons can choose an ornament and make a donation in the amount of the item’s purchase price. A librarian will choose the item to be purchased, and the donor’s name will appear on a bookplate inside the cover of the item.

Items can also be purchased in honor of or in memory of a friend or loved one. Whether it’s for the person who has everything, a memorial gift, to commemorate a special occasion, or to celebrate a favorite reader, this gift truly keeps on giving. The honoree’s name would also be included on the bookplate.

For those who wish to do this remotely (or in case the Library closes to the public), simply call the library at 203-261-0134 or email Mary Beth Rassulo at mrassulo@eastonlibrary.org to let the staff know what you would like to donate and how you would like to pay. You can either pay with a credit card over the phone, or mail in a check. To see the list of donatable items, go to: https://www.eastonlibrary.org/the-giving-tree

The Easton Public Library thanks the community for its anticipated support and wishes everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!
