To the Editor:
As a 21-year Easton resident, and recent US citizen, I have raised my daughters in this lovely town to be compassionate and accepting members of this town, country and the world.
We have travelled and we like to learn about different cultures, we don’t see disparities as a threat, we embrace it and understand that we may have different appearances and rituals, but we all love the same: Parents want what’s best for their children and everyone is worthy of equal treatment. I feel horrified and disgusted to be flooded by racism and bigotry, attacks towards race and gender identity.
It’s difficult and unacceptable to read ill-informed publications and posts on social media, and my heart aches for anyone who this is pointed at. We, as a town, are better than this nonsensical propaganda!
