Meadow Ridge, a Benchmark continuing care retirement community (CCRC), invites everyone to partake in complimentary croquet on their courts while enjoying mimosas from their traveling bar. On Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. Meadow Ridge will host Croquet & Cocktails on its 136-acre campus.
“We all have enjoyed watching summer garden parties on Bridgerton and Downton Abbey, so we’re excited to bring this tradition to older people and their families,” said Chris Barstein, campus executive director of Meadow Ridge. “Fun social gatherings like these that keep our residents connected to the people, passions and things that matter most to them are what our community is known for, so we’re excited to share in this experience with others.”
In addition to gameplay for beginner to more advanced croquet players and mimosas, everyone will be able to tour the campus, socialize with Meadow Ridge residents and learn more about the community’s many programs and activities.
Besides croquet courts, Meadow Ridge is also home to a wide variety of outdoor amenities that residents enjoy all year long, including a gardening area with potting sheds, tennis and Bocce courts, a putting green and chipping area and a woodland pond with fishing.
Croquet & Cocktails will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. at Meadow Ridge, which is located at 100 Redding Road in Redding, Conn. To RSVP or for more information, go to https://bit.ly/3kKic1A.
