The Easton Public Library has announced several programs for adults this fall, covering a variety of topics. All of these will be presented virtually, via Zoom.
After a brief hiatus, Career Coaching Consultations will once again be offered. People who are looking for help with their job search, resume, or LinkedIn profile can sign up for a one-on-one 30-minute consultation with Career Coach Cathy Alfandre. These sessions will be offered on Monday, September 22 from 10 a.m to 12 p.m; Thursday October 28 from 5 to 7p.m; and Thursday November 18 from 10 a.m. to12 p.m.
On Sunday, September 26 at 2 p.m., Stephen Quandt will give a presentation on The Dogs of Chernobyl: 35 Years After the Nuclear Reactor Accident . Stephen will discuss his trip to Chernobyl to participate in a spay/neuter and research campaign for the dogs that were descended from the pets left behind after the nuclear plant disaster of 1986.

The newly-formed Friends of the Library will sponsor a Used Book Sale on Saturday October 2 from 9:30 a.m. to. 4 p.m. in the Library Community Room. Donations are being accepted now.
The Library will present several author talks, which were pre-recorded at this month’s National Book Festival. They include Isabel Wilkerson, author of Caste and The Warmth of Other Suns, on Thursday October 7 at 7 p.m.; and Michael J. Fox, whose most recent book is No Time Like the Future, on Tuesday November 16 at 7 p.m. For kids, there will be a talk by Dan Gutman on Thursday, September 30 at 4:30 p.m. Finally, for teens, there will be a talk by Angie Thomas on Friday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m.

AAA Retire will present a program on retirement, IRAs, and taxes on Wednesday October 13 at 6 p.m. All attendees will receive a free personalized retirement income plan.
Finally, on Saturday November 6 at 2 p.m, Connecticut author Stephen Cuddy will discuss his debut book, Learn to Manage Depression Using Health Rocks. Stephen will discuss the book and answer questions.
