In a press release issued today from Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle, the test kit distribution scheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 30 at Samuel Staples Elementary School has been canceled. Gov. Ned Lamont indicated that there were shipping and warehouse delays outside of the state’s control.
Doyle and First Selectman David Bindelglass determined that it was immediately necessary to inform residents of the delay and to cancel until further notice.
As soon as the shipment has arrived, the distribution event will be rescheduled.
