William (Bill) Kearney, 69, of Easton, beloved husband of Carolyn (Schede) Kearney, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Bill was born on August 7, 1952 in Yonkers, N.Y. and was the son of the late William Kearney and Dorothy (Fallon) Kearney.
He graduated from J.M. Wright Technical High School in Stamford, Conn. Bill was employed at Nash Engineering in Norwalk as a machinist and later worked at Bimbo Bakery in Greenwich. He could also be found working many weekends at Home Depot where he enjoyed solving home challenges with customers. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his children and coming up with projects around the house. He loved to go fishing and the family could be found camping with friends.
Bill leaves behind his daughter, Briana Kearney; son, Matthew Kearney and his wife Meghan; son, Jonathan Kearney and his wife Samantha; and grandchildren, Baileigh, Johnny, August, Alex and Ryleigh. He was predeceased by his two children, Colleen and Jeffrey.
Friends and family may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
An interment will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, 352 Main Street, New Canaan, Conn. PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT THE CEMETERY.
