Beth Bailey’s Work on View at the Easton Library

Known to many in both Easton and Redding as a gifted art teacher at Joel Barlow High School, Beth Bailey creates artwork that includes a range of techniques including paintings, printmaking, photography and ceramics.

Her work is on display through the month of July in the Easton Public Library’s conference room and glass display case. The exhibit, entitled “Sunshine and Shadows,” reflects the artist’s exploration of changing light. Her work is also influenced by nature and expressionism.

Bailey is a Redding resident and has taught art at JBHS since 1998. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Art Education and recently completed a Master of Arts Degree in Integrative Health and Healing.

The show, sponsored by the Easton Public Library, will run through July 31. A reception for the artist will take place on Saturday, July 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. The library is located at 691 Morehouse Road.
