The community is invited to attend a celebration of the life of award-winning children’s book author and Easton resident Patricia Hubbell Hornstein who died on July 29. The celebration will be held on Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. at the Easton Public Library.
Hornstein grew up in the Bradley Hubbell house and published dozens of children’s book in her decades long career (her pen name was Patricia Hubbell). She drew much of her inspiration from the beauty of Easton, of which she was a lifelong resident.
Hornstein’s obituary also says she was an accomplished horsewoman, a prolific and talented artist who worked in a variety of media, and a skilled gardener.
