The League of Women Voters of Fairfield is hosting an in-person debate for the 28th State Senate District seat with Republican incumbent Tony Hwang and Democratic challenger Tim Gavin on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Board of Education Conference Room, 501 Kings Highway East in Fairfield, Conn.

Hwang and Gavin’s debate will follow the debate for the candidates running for the 134 House district seat, which encompasses parts of Fairfield and Trumbull.

Connecticut State Senate District 28 includes Easton, Newtown, Fairfield, and parts of Weston and Westport.

The debate is open to the public and questions are invited. People may also submit questions in advance via email to bperry06824@gmail.com.
