The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) AND Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) classes are designed for those interested in learning more about the emergency response system and in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician or Emergency Medical Responder. Emergency Responders are the first line of treatment providing vital care to the sick and injured which can be critical to patient survival.
The programs in each category include a combination of classroom instruction, skill (hands-on in person) training and a clinical observation/ride. Both are 12 weeks in duration from Jan. 1 – March 23.
