Your donation will sustain Easton’s community journalism project
The non-profit Easton Courier is heading into 2023 with a new look and a revamped design that we hope our readers will find user-friendly. The new eastoncourier.news is the result of many meetings over the past several months by our volunteer team. Special thanks go to Keith Zdrojowy, who has taken the lead on the redesign. The new site has already undergone several rounds of internal testing and tweaks, but we also encourage readers to send suggestions and feedback to eastoncourierct@gmail.com.
The online Courier launched on Leap Day, Feb. 29, 2020 and will soon publish its 2,700th article. We have become a trusted source for town news and have received multiple Excellence in Journalism awards from the Society of Professional Journalists. In order for us to continue our partnership and expand this community journalism project, we are asking you to donate to the Easton Courier here. (All donations are placed in a restricted account for the sole purpose of sustaining the Easton Courier Community Journalism Project.)
For those who prefer to mail in their donation, please make checks payable to Sacred Heart University with Easton Courier in memo, and mail to University Advancement, 5151 Park Ave, Fairfield, CT 06825.
Faculty and staff from Sacred Heart University have volunteered countless hours to produce the newspaper that Easton residents read every day. Many of you have contributed to the success of the Courier through your loyal readership and by submitting articles, events, columns and letters to the editor. Your donation will allow us to continue to sustain this successful community journalism partnership.
