Christ Church on 59 Church Road will hold a Good Friday service on April 7 at 12 p.m. All are welcome to join in the solemn observances with Scriptures, Prayer, Song, Homily, Stations of the Cross, and a Procession of the Cross.
On Sunday, April 9 at 9:30 a.m. the church will host an Easter Rejoicing Service, a festive, music-filled time of worship and rejoicing. Service will include a children’s craft and be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt and family brunch. All are welcome.
Jesse Lee United Methodist Church on 25 Flat Rock Road will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Good Friday service will be held at noon on April 7 with readings and anthem by the choir. St. Dimitrie Orthodox Church on 504 Sport Hill Road will hold a Good Friday service on April 14 and will include the Placing of the Holy Epitaph at 3 p.m. and the Lamentations and Procession at 6:30 p.m. Great and Holy Saturday will be celebrated on April 15 and includes the Divine Liturgy of St Basil at 10 a.m. and the Resurrection Service at 11:30 p.m.
Easter service will be held on April 16 and will include Agape Vespers at 11 a.m. followed by social hour and a Paschal (Easter) Divine Liturgy at midnight that will follow the Resurrection Service continued from Saturday night.
