The polls are open for a town-wide referendum vote in Easton today from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road.
The Town Clerk’s Office will accept completed ballots from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m in person. After 4:30 p.m., completed ballots can be placed in the Drop Box.
The ballot referendum questions ask voters to vote yes or no to approve Easton’s $48,574,643 annual town budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, the $24,811,367 Region 9 school district budget (of which Easton’s share is $13,256,713) and a Region 9 bonding proposal for $4,500,000 for improvements to Joel Barlow High School’s fields and Nest Building.
