Easton Volunteer Emergency Medical Services will host an open house on May 29 to celebrate National Emergency Medical Services Week.
The community is invited to stop by EMS’ headquarters at 448 Sport Hill Road from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to see their current headquarters and get a tour of the nearly 100-year-old building they currently work out of. Members will be on hand to give tours of emergency vehicles and to talk about becoming an EMT and volunteering. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided.
The open house is being done in conjunction with the end of National Emergency Medical Services Week, which runs from May 21 – 27, a nationally recognized week that celebrates all EMS responders, volunteer or paid, for what they do in their respective communities.
