The Public Works Department is advising drivers to use caution and drive slowly on town roadways currently being chip-sealed.
A 15-minute delay is expected for motorists. Residents are asked to avoid parking on roads where the work is being done.
The project began June 12 with the following roads slated for chip sealing: Winter Green Drive, High Ridge Road, Rosewood Drive, Virginia Drive, Fair Oak Drive, a section of Weathervane Drive, Sunny Ridge Road, Wedgewood Drive, Newman Drive, Gregory Farms Road, Martin Lane, Senior Drive, Bayberry Lane, Drewbarrie Lane, a section of Crossbow Lane, a section of Sunset Road, Robin Hood Lane, Sherwood Drive, High Ridge Plane and Abbey Lane.Â
Loose stone will be swept up as soon as possible.
