Photo Gallery: Easton’s Korean and Vietnam-Era Veterans Honored at Awards Ceremony

The town held a Veterans Awards Ceremony on Monday to honor Easton’s Korean and Vietnam-era veterans for their dedication and commitment to our nation. The veterans honored are Robert Mezes, Fred B. Candee, Chester R. Cebulski, John Arnold, Daniel Braine, Theodore Bresky, Thomas Campbell, Harold Candee, Peter Del Vecchio, Carlo Gilberti, Michael Howard, John Machledt, Edward Soderberg, Arthur Stanley, Hobert H. Summers, Thomas Vitale, Sr., Charles Welch and Paul Lindoerfer. The ceremony was held at the Easton Public Library and was attended by Ronald P. Welch, commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs, Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, First Selectman David Bindelglass, state Senator Tony Hwang and state Rep. Anne Hughes.
