The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 58 and Route 136 in Easton.Â
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 4.25 miles of Route 58 in Easton and .53 miles of Route 136 in Easton. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday Sept. 15. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 25. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, Aug. 27 through Friday, Sept. 15.
No work will be performed from 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 due to the Labor Day Holiday. This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
