Jackson Pike Skifflers & Friends Concert

This legendary band, founded by Easton’s own Will Tressler, has delighted Eastonites and many surrounding towns for more than 50 years. Original band family members Katie Tressler, Dan Tressler, Sally Connolly, Dan Carlucci, and Dave McCann, along with several musicians formerly associated with the group, will come together for a special evening at Christ Church.
Their repertoire will include traditional rural and urban vernacular music, early country music, minstrel and vaudeville songs, street ballads, Gospel songs, country dance tunes, railroad songs, mountain music and more.

Second Annual Easton’s Lady in White 5K Run/Walk

As part of Easton’s Free Spirit Festival, Easton Park and Recreation, Easton Cemetery Committee and Christ Church Easton are co-hosting the second Annual Easton’s Chasing the Legend 5K Run/Walk. Registration is now open (see below). Proceeds will be shared between the Easton Cemetery Committee and Christ Church.
“The proceeds from the Lady in White 5K Run/Walk support the preservation and maintenance of Easton’s historic cemeteries through the Easton Cemetery Committe,” said Nanette DeWester, Easton Cemetery Committee chair. “The committee uses the funds to restore fragile gravesites, manage the unique grounds, host educational tours, and foster engagement ensuring that the cemeteries are a living memorial that honors our past while serving the present and future of Easton.”
The race begins at the Christ Church parking lot located at Christ Church, 59 Church Road, Easton, CT 06611. On site, there will be various fall activities for kids and adults and a fun run and shuttle run for kids 12 and under, so bring the family. Costumes encouraged! Christ Church will be hosting a bake sale.
T-Shirt’s will be available for additional $15 when registering online ($20 day off/cash only/limited availability)
Race will take place rain or shine.

• Teen Participants (13-17) $10
