To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Dr. David Bindelglass for re-election as first selectman and Nick D’Addario for election as selectman in Easton’s upcoming municipals.

Dave has a proven record of hands-on governance that has successfully and calmly guided us through multiple critical events throughout his tenure, including the Covid pandemic, multiple devastating storms and power outages and the recent water main break. He has worked with integrity, maintaining high standards of transparency and open communication at every level.

He has demonstrated his commitment to the preservation of Easton’s open space through the finalization of the sale of the South Park property to Aspetuck Land Trust, which will permanently protect the Mill River. He has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to improving Easton’s infrastructure. He works closely with the Senior Center to maintain and improve our senior services, and supports the highest standards for our schools and library system.

Nick has deep family roots here and is as committed as Dave to the preservation of Easton’s beautiful open spaces, our wonderful education system and our robust senior services. He has extensive management expertise and has been serving on Easton’s Planning and Zoning Commission. I believe that as selectman he will ensure inclusive transparent governance.

Vote for Bindelglass/D’Addario and all of Row A on Election Day to preserve and build on Dave’s outstanding record of achievements.
