This Veterans Day, we remember and pay tribute to the veterans who have selflessly dedicated themselves to protecting our freedom. These are our neighbors, the ones who have left their families and homes to safeguard our way of life.

Take a moment to thank a veteran for their service and the sacrifices they’ve made. We honor their courage and recognize that they embody the values that make a small-town community strong – unity, resilience, and a deep love for our country.
We have witnessed in Easton and neighboring towns that Veterans Day is not just another holiday on the calendar. It’s a day when people come together as a community to salute our local heroes, to honor their dedication and to make a promise that we will never forget their service.
All of us at the Courier wish you a memorable and meaningful Veterans Day.
Editors’s note: American Legion Post 160 of Easton and Post 176 of Monroe will hold Veterans Day memorial services on the Stepney Green today at 11 a.m. See the press release posted in the Monroe Sun for more details.
