Whether this is your family’s annual tradition or your first time, there’s nothing like carrying home a locally sourced Easton Christmas tree to prepare for the holidays.

The Easton Garden Club has released the 2023 Holiday of Edition of its Easton Farm Map, and we have gathered a list of several Easton farms where you can personally cut a tree in the Christmas Tree Capital of Connecticut.

Maple Row Farm at 229 Stepney Road will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but will remain open through Christmas from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hayrides, tailgating, hot coca and snacks, as wells a wreaths, bows and ornaments are available.

Sabia Tree Farm at 772 Morehouse Road will be open on Friday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will remain open through December. The hours are Saturdays and Sundays from  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Ganim Tree Farm at 28 Center Road opens on Friday, Nov. 24 at 9 a.m. Due to high sales volume in recent years, cut-your-own trees will only be offered during the first two weekends of business on the following days: Nov, 24, 25, and 26 and Dec. 2 and 3.

Keneally Christmas Tree Farm at 290 Silver Hill Rd. is family-owned farm that offers a wide variety of trees on its 3 acres, in addition to fresh homemade wreaths and firewood. They are open every weekend after Thanksgiving from 9 a.m. until dark. Call 203-226-1653 for weekday hours.

Fresh cut Christmas Trees will be available at Silverman’s Farm at 451 Sport Hill Road throughout the rest of November and December, as well as decorated country wreaths, ribbons, garland, and holiday gifts. The farm is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Slady’s Christmas Tree Farm, located at 65 Orchard Lane, also sells Christmas trees. For more information call 203- 261-3047.
