The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Easton area from 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, with forecasts predicting significant snowfall. Residents should brace for a wintry blast, as Easton expected to receive between 5 to 10 inches of snow starting Saturday afternoon or evening.
The Easton Police Department has noted on its Facebook page that this anticipated snowfall marks the first substantial snow event in a considerable time. In preparation, community members are encouraged to take necessary precautions.
