Touch the lives in our sister city Sviatohirsk when you and your family visit Ukraine Aid International’s Touch A Truck event on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Samuel Staples Elementary School parking lot.
Twenty construction trucks and equipment, first responder and municipal vehicles are expected to participate. Event proceeds go directly toward helping Sviatohirsk rebuild its roads, buildings, utilities and, most importantly, lives in Sviatohirsk.

In March 2023, a new Sister City program was launched between Easton, Connecticut, and Sviatohirsk, Donetsk, Ukraine. The program managed through Ukraine Aid International aims to establish a strong relationship between the two towns and provide much-needed aid and support to the people of Sviatohirsk, who have been severely impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
