State Senator Tony Hwang and Fairfield county state Reps Jennifer Leeper, Cristin McCarthy-Vahey and Sarah Keitt will host a bipartisan pre-session legislative town hall to discuss key issues facing Fairfield and Easton and the state of Connecticut.
The forum allows constituents to ask questions about the state legislature’s upcoming session and discuss legislative priorities with their elected representatives. Topics may include the state budget and taxes, public safety, housing reform, the environment, transportation safety and efficiency, artificial intelligence, seniors and elder care, utility costs and more.
The event is free and open to the public on Jan. 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Sacred Heart University’s Martire Theatre, located at 5401 Park Avenue in Fairfield.
