Summer is here, and the Easton Public Library has some great programs for adults.

Beginning on June 16 and continuing through Aug. 23, adults who wish to participate in our summer reading program can record their books online (one Google form for each book read).
Every Monday, starting on June 23, a raffle prize winner will be drawn at random from the previous week’s entries. At the end of the summer, the person who has read the most books will receive a special prize!
On Friday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m., Picasso Parties LLC will return to the library for another Paint Night on the Patio. All attendees will have the opportunity to paint a summer scene, with step-by-step instructions from the facilitator. This is always a popular program. Space is limited, so register early to save your spo!. BYOB.

If you’re interested in foraging but don’t know how to start, join us on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 7 p.m. for A Beginner’s Course on the Do’s and Don’ts of Foraging. Presenter Gina Pagano will explain how to forage ethically and sustainably, as well as what to do and what not to do. Focusing on Connecticut, she will discuss a few items that are easy to identify and find each season. She will also try to bring a few samples for participants to try.
